This is one of my favorite Magnolia images. The moment I saw it, I knew I had to have it! I just love how sweet it is and this little frog is the cutest! The paper I used for this card is some I've had for probably 5 years...Isn't that terrible???? Long time, no post. Sorry about that, things have been crazy as usual, but I was able to make this sweet little card using one of the Magnolia images. I have to admit, I have no idea what this one is called, I received it in a swap and I think it's adorable, but I'm just not sure about the name. The paper I used is from a scrapbook kit that I got at Hobby Lobby. I just love this paper! Soooo cute! And the sentiment is from The Greeting Farm I believe.

"Boy Oh Boy"

I have a couple of "boy" cards to show you today. I created these using two of my favorite images from The Greeting Farm. The first one is the "Dad" from the New Parents Set, but by himself, he looks like a little boy--part of the reason I love this set is that it's so versitile. So, with 2011, one of my goals is to create more elaborate cards with stitching and lots of layers. Sometimes I get lazy and just slap them together, but this year, I want to take my time and really create the best cards I can. That mean quality rather than quantity :) So here's my first stab at it:

The paper on this card is Recollections from Michaels. They really have some adorable papers out and I just happened to find these one day while I was browsing. I thought they'd be perfect for a "boy card"

The stamp in this card is from one of the OA sets. I don't actually own this set, but I got this image in an image swap and I just think he's the cutest thing ever! I love the little dinos! I wish I could tell you more about this card, but the paper was just a scrap I had laying around and everything else is just plain cardstock. The ribbon is from Wal-mart...50 cents a yard I think so that's not too bad :)

So, I've been in a Bella mood lately and I just had to create a card with my new stamp:babycarriageabella. Isn't she adorable???? I colored the image with copic markers as usual and then I used some new paper I got at Michaels and stitched around it with the sewing machine. The thick brown ribbon on the side is also from Michaels, it's actually Christmas ribbon and I got it 60% off!!! Go me! Anyway, thanks for stopping by! Now that it's Christmas Break, I hope to have a lot more cards to show you guys!

This is a tag I created for the 12 Sassy Days of Christmas. Challenge was to use 4 die cuts so I used three snowflakes and one scallop oval. I colored the image with copic markers and added a little stickles to her skirt. I just love the way it turned out...so simple and pretty. I think I'm going to make it into a card. Dare to Be Sassy

I realize this is a couple days late, but I wanted to post anyway. This week's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday Challenge is to create a tag. This is a digital tag I created and I think it turned out so cute. I'm thinking I'm going to use in on one of digital scrapbook pages :) I used Creative Memories Story Book Creator Software to put it all together. I can't say enough about this program. It's so easy to use and produces high quality elements! Love it!

On another note, many of you may have noticed I'm no longer coordinating the Sassy Thursday Challenges. Things have been very busy at work lately and I've decided to pass the torch. Thankfully, Kathy has volunteered to run things and she's doing a great job already! As the new yearbook sponsor at the school where I work, I just don't have as much time for crafting as I used to, but no worries, I'm still apart of the Sassy team and I will be posting creations regularly. Don't worry...I'm still alive :) So sorry it's been forever since my last post! I've been so busy at work, I've barely had time for crafting. As you know I teach high school and this year they asked me to be the yearbook sponsor. I've never created a yearbook in my life so it's been taking up quite a bit of my time lately. But I'm off for Thanksgiving Break now so hopefully I will be able to get several cards made so I can post them thoughout the next month. Lots to share with you guys today...first things first...Eclipse was AMAZING!!!! A thousand times better than the first two movies! Finally, a movie worthy of Stephenie Meyers' story!!! Going Goth Challenge

I recently discovered Tiddly Inks Digital Stamps and immediately fell in love. They are way too cute!!!! This week they're having a challenge to create something Goth. Now, Goth is really not my style, but I thought I would try it anyway. As you can see, it kinda turned out more cute-sy than hard core, but I still really like it and I think it's a little goth! :) By the way, I don't think I mentioned it, but this is a notepad cover I made for my brother's girlfriend :) Hope you guys like it :)

Sassy Sneak Peek!

As you probably already know, the new Sassy Release is just a few days away (May 1st)! So it's time for some sneak peeks! This is one of my all time favorite Sassy images. She was so much fun to color and I could see so many different uses for this (weddings, prom, halloween, masquerade, etc). I added little rhinestones to her dress and an organza flower. It's a sweet little Tilda card. I used lots of 3D stickers, glitter, and I've been practicing my copic coloring! I would like to enter it into a couple of contests, but we'll see if I have time. My Favorite Colors

Ok, so anyone who knows me, knows that my favorite colors are red, white, and black. In fact, if you look in my closet, that's all you're likely to see :) I can't help it, I just think there's something so classic about the combination...I love it. So I couldn't resist, I had to create this little card using my favorite colors and one of my most favorite patterns...houndstooth.
